In many ways, my story begins like many others driven by artistic passion...
Photography found me.
After the birth of my first baby boy, I picked up a camera to document his life. I couldn't get enough of him or of my new love I found in photography. In 2005, I took a leap of faith and launched my business, Katy Cook Photography. I never looked back.
I love what I do. My clients are more to me than a person in front of a camera. I'm privileged to photograph so many wonderful people and in the process, develop lasting relationships that last for years. It truly is an honor to capture a memory for a mother or a fleeting moment for a bride.
On a personal note:
- I am married to the greatest man and the best friend a girl could ever hope for...
- We are raising 3 boys, Owen, Cole, and Evan.
- I'm an advocate for adoption
I want you to have the most amazing wedding day! Your wedding day should be stress-free and the only thing you should be thinking about is how excited you are to start the next chapter of life with your favorite person.
I make it my goal as your wedding photographer to not only capture the day and all it's special moments, but, also to make it a fun and carefree experience.
