Last week, I had the honor of photographing Maddie and Connor’s Biltmore Wedding at Lioncrest, one of the most beautiful venues on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. With the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop and the timeless elegance of the estate, this wedding was a perfect mix of romance, laughter, and a few surprises from Mother Nature.
Weathering the Storms at a Biltmore Estate Wedding
The day began with sunshine streaming across the estate grounds, setting a picture-perfect scene. But weddings always come with a little unpredictability—and this one was no exception! We dodged not one, but two quick rainstorms, and even hail made an appearance during the toasts. What could have dampened the day only added to the story. Maddie and Connor embraced every moment, proving that nothing could overshadow the joy of their celebration!
A Bride Radiant in Blue and Florals
Maddie looked stunning in her gown, her radiant smile lighting up every room she entered. Adding a unique touch to the day, her bridesmaids wore chic blue and floral-patterned dresses. The fresh pop of color beautifully contrasted against the lush greenery and classic architecture of the Biltmore, making for unforgettable photographs.
A Groom Full of Joy and Guests Ready to Celebrate
Connor’s happiness was contagious—he beamed with joy from the moment he saw Maddie. It was easy to capture candid shots of his laughter and excitement throughout the day. Their friends and family, many traveling in from Ohio, brought incredible energy to the celebration. From heartfelt toasts to an epic dance-off between Connor and his dad, Ken, the night was full of fun and memorable moments that defined this Biltmore wedding.
