Asheville Family Photography - 2 Year Portraits

I recently had the joy of photographing little Izabella for her two-year-old session, and what a treat it was! At this age, I always go in prepared for lots of movement, short attention spans, and the need to keep things light and fun. But Izabella made my job so easy—she’s spirited, curious, and not shy in the least.

From the moment we started, she was full of personality and ready to explore. I love sessions like this because two-year-olds have such a natural way of being themselves, and my role becomes less about posing and more about keeping up with them and capturing those genuine expressions.

As expected, we worked in little bursts of time to match her energy and attention span. That meant moving quickly, changing things up often, and letting her take the lead in play. And of course, I had a secret weapon—bubbles! They never fail at this age, and Izabella’s wide-eyed wonder and giggles as they floated around her were some of my favorite moments from the session.

The result was a collection of images that feel authentic to who Izabella is right now: lively, joyful, and full of charm. Two-year-old sessions are always unpredictable, but they’re also some of the most rewarding. Izabella’s sweet spirit and fearless energy made this one extra special.
